I am interested in studying contemporary, ‘living' religion (particularly in the American context) utilizing ethnographic/anthropological methods to approach topics such as: inter-religious contact and/or syncretism, diasporic and/or minority religious communities, issues of representation, etc. Additionally, my interests include sound/music and the ‘religious experience', religion and human rights, and religious views on violence/non-violence.
