graduated from the University of the Pacific with a bachelor's degree in
religious studies and an art minor. My interests are in contemporary
American religion and pluralism, especially in popular culture and
popular spiritualities as opposed to more traditional sectarian forms of
religious expression. I am also interested in the charismatic figures
who bring new types of spirituality into the American mainstream. I plan
to examine what role religious pluralism plays in the formation of
popular American spirituality.
