I am a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Magazine Journalism and minor in World Religions. I also spent a year in Hangzhou, China as a Princeton in Asia teaching fellow. I am a first year M.A. student and hope to focus on how the Chinese diaspora has and is influencing Buddhist Southeast Asian communities. My interests are in the evolution of rituals (especially death rituals), ethics, texts, and consumerism.
