I received my B.A. in 2006 from the University of California, Santa Cruz in English Language Literature, and in 2008 I received my teaching credential and M.Ed. from the University of California, San Diego. Some of my current interests are religion's presence in consumer and popular culture as well as cults and new religious movements in North America.
